How it works
- Total days = end date − start date (add 1 if the end day is included).
- Business days count Monday to Friday only; public holidays are not excluded.
- The years/months/days breakdown counts whole calendar months first, then the remaining days.
Frequently asked questions
Should I include the end date?
Include it when counting both days, like a hotel stay from check-in day through check-out day or a leave period. Leave it off for elapsed time.
Are public holidays excluded?
No. Holidays differ by country, so business days are simply weekdays.
